I read that Mugdha Godse had to tone down her Marathi accent for the role in Fashion. What accent are bollywood stars expected to use? Is it the Dilli accent?

I am Russian, and I love Bollywood. I watched many Indian movies with English subtitles. I liked Sholay, Lagaan, and Devdas. My favorite Indian actor is Amitabh Bachchan.
